Most of you probably already know via Facebook, etc that we now have a new member of the family! Henry Daniel joined us on July 8 and we are just thrilled to have him. He is a really good little one, sleeps really well and has a very strong neck according to my mother.
Last Wednesday we had what felt like almost the entire family here for the brit milah at the synagogue. We had both sets of grand parents, Martin's sister and our nieces as well as almost all Henry's great aunts and uncles! Jason, Greg and Samantha flew up from Houston to join us so it was a nice group of folks that celebrated with us. Henry was exceptionally good, but then again, who wouldn't be if you were 8 days old and got to drink wine!?! Even my buddy Rhonda stopped by and got to meet Henry.
We have been getting him settled at home and Martin was lucky enough to take some time off from work. Getting up in the middle of the night is a bit of an adjustment for both of us, but I don't mind it since Henry is so nice to look at. Mom says he is much quieter than I ever was!
